Jacopo T. Monti, Architect and Founding Partner
Multidisciplinary Italian architect registered in Spain and in the UK with 12 years of work experience
in several countries including United States, UK, Spain, and the Middle East.
Trilingual and with an ability to swiftly adapt to different working environments, Jacopo become
interested in hospitality architecture while working as a student for BAMO, an international renowned
hospitality interior design practice in San Francisco in 1996. Since then, Jacopo has always been
involved in hospitality projects ranging from resort master plans to hotel architecture and hotel
interior design projects, participating in all stages from concept to construction documentation and
on to on site supervision.
Jacopo gained international experience working for renowned practices such as Munkenbeck &
Marshall and RTKL in London and Broadway Malayan in Madrid as an Associate Director. In the
hospitality sector Jacopo has worked for a variety of hotel chains such as Conrad, Hilton, Hyatt,
Le Meridien, Movenpik and Starwood.
Currently he heads up his own practice, Studio MONTI and is one of the three partners in
SUPORTIA, a company that provides support and tailor made services to any investment initiative in
the hospitality sector.
Jacopo is an associate member of the Green Building Council España.
